IMMEDIATE RELEASE 9 A.M. CDT, May 1, 2012

NAPERVILLE, IL: Naperville marketing company Paul Gregory Media (PGM) won three Gold Awards in the 2012 Hermes Creative Awards Competition. PGM won the awards for creative business card designs for PNC Bank Merchant Services and Grasshopper Lawn Care. PGM also picked up a gold award for their creative work on a Healthcare brochure for DL Healthcare.

The rebranding of Grasshopper Lawn Care was designed to build credibility, trust, and confidence in their established company. We wanted to rebuild the brand that reflected the professional high-level committment that their service provided. Their new business card, which utilizes a relatively new process of bonding two cards together to provide a layered-effect, reflects the uniqueness and high level of service that their client offers.

"The PNC Bank Merchant Services business card enabled us to do something we always wanted to do," says principal, Paul Feith. We used the 'credit-card' metaphor and created a business card that not just looks like a credit card, but is a credit card (minus the encoded magnetic strip), although there is one for show. Even the embossed credit card numbers on the front reveal the phone number for the client. The card design won for the blend of design on a metallic flake surface and attention to detail on the credit card metaphor.

The Gold award was jointly earned with Freelance Writing Solutions for the copy and design work for the DL Healthcare brochure, which took the form of a (4) staggered inserts in a presentation folder. The professional copywriting was done by Beth Carter, which is what really made the project shine. Mr. Feith states, "Beth has a special talent for bringing out a story from a client, and writing it to engage their prospects. Designing around Beth's professional copy is always a pleasure, and it allows us to continue to deliver the utmost quality in marketing materials."
