Digital Marketing Coordinator

Do you want to work for a marketing agency that’s passionate about going above and beyond for its clients? Are you a creative go-getter who thinks out of the box and wants to be part of a team that does the same?

We Are looking for a Digitial Marketing Coordinator with experience in SEO / SEM, PPC (including Keyword research and analysis), social ads, and integrated digital campaigns. This will rely heavily on your copywriting and production design skills, presentation/reporting skills, and of course the ability to work on platforms to perform these tasks.

Who We Are:

Paul Gregory Media is a boutique award-winning creative agency searching for a skilled and solutions-oriented Digital Marketing Coordinator with a strong analytical mind to craft compelling brand stories and strategies that deliver results.

Our agency specializes in the marketing of nonprofits and professional services. We’re committed to educating and connecting to organizations that are interested in having a positive impact on the world’s fundamental needs in a practical way. Our company provides a wide variety of services for organizations who desire both an affordable and creative organization to partner with on their journey to effectively communicating their mission. Some of the services that PGM provides are branding, web design, social media, SEO, PPC, copywriting, a variety of marketing services, film/video production, all manner of design work, and several consulting avenues — including strategic planning. Our team is able to seamlessly synthesize technical expertise with creative insight to produce visually compelling and effective results for organizations nationwide. Many of our clients are in DuPage County.

Who You Are:

PGM is looking for a dependable, client service-oriented Digital Marketing Coordinator with excellent communication, time-management, and organizational skills. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting and collaborating with the entire team, working across client initiatives to support the agency’s growth and client engagement. The role relies heavily on clear, effective internal and external communication —both written and verbal. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will work closely with PGM’s client teams, perform research, edit copy, and monitor and evaluate market trends. Additional duties may include serving as a liaison between the agency and clients, managing social media accounts, and assisting with event planning.

The right candidate for this position understands the importance of confidentiality, proactively stays up-to-date with digital marketing technologies and marketing trends, and is a strong writer and speaker. What else? The candidate also has excellent administrative and word-processing software skills, presentation know-how and expertise with relevant technology. Past experience in an agency, nonprofit, or professional services industry is a plus.

Your Mission at PGM:

To support an extraordinary client experience, empower PGM’s clients to achieve their goals and actively (and enthusiastically) participate in team objectives.

The Digital Marketing Coordinator’s typical day will involve:

  • First and Foremost: Experience and ability to create, implement, and manage SEO, SEM, PPC (typically in the form of Google Ad Grants – and the compliance challenges within), Social Ads, digital reputation, listing management, and full campaigns, with monthly reporting on analytics and ROI.
  • Supporting the delivery of various consulting projects with duties like data-gathering and analysis, print and digital marketing collateral development, and contributing to all phases of project life cycle management.
  • Conducting market research and reporting on findings.
  • Supporting the agency by ensuring projects are outlined and maintained in a project management system.
  • Performing regular administrative tasks.
  • Supporting content development for the PGM brand and its clients.
  • Helping plan events, projects and campaigns.
  • Helping create written reports and presentations.
  • Helping run, monitor and evaluate social media accounts.
  • Communicating with clients and maintaining good relationships.
  • Promoting media brand visibility — for both PGM and its clients — through strategic advertising, influencer outreach, sponsorship opportunities and press placements.
  • Developing integrated campaigns that span print and digital mediums, including ad placements, marketing collateral, email communications and press exposure.
  • Supporting logistics and communications for events and conferences.

You’re the Right Fit if:

  • You have 3+ years of experience (required) supporting end-to-end digital marketing projects with SEM, PPC, Social Ads, etc.
  • Experience in the nonprofit industry is a plus, but not required for this role.
  • You hold current marketing certifications (SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, PPC, etc.)
  • You have experience working in the professional services industry (advertising agencies, consulting firms, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or public relations a plus.
  • You have a working knowledge of CRM and email marketing platforms (think Mailchimp and HubSpot). If you are proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite and presentation software programs like Keynote, PowerPoint, Prezi, that’s a plus — and if you have CMS experience, that’s a big plus (i.e., WordPress, Drupal, etc.).
  • You have developed an impressive personal marketing portfolio, including past work experiences, volunteer activities or relevant coursework.
  • You have a proven ability to complete end-to-end projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • You are an efficient and effective communicator with a keen ability to “tell the story” and confidently pitch to clients.
  • You are a master collaborator who thrives in a team environment, yet can work independently if needed.
  • You are a problem-solver with high attention to detail and a passion for fact-finding.
  • You are a self-managed, organized multi-tasker and a fast learner.
  • You are skilled at managing your time effectively and meeting tight deadlines.
  • You are proficient in marketing and advertising trends, strategies and technologies.
